The term topic supports the learning of techniques and artistic styles presented in the context of an art movement or famous artist. Keeping students interested and engaged with a fresh topic each term increases the effectiveness and speed of learning. [The term topic for terms 1 - 2024 is portraiture.] This term we encourage students to enter the Art Gallery NSW "Young Archie" competition. Entry dates are expected to be open in February and closed in early March 2024.
